Story
I love John William’s work but I also love the different directions in which the Star Wars musical palette has taken over the last few years. Michael Giacchino’s Rogue One, Natalie Holt and William Ross’s Obi Wan, Ludwig Göransson’s The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett are a few examples. There are also the numerous Star Wars video games composers that have done a fantastic job. They all use varying degrees of the John Williams Star Wars “music design language” or DNA if you will and its a pleasure to listen to. Its all very inspiring and makes me want to write music like this 🙂
Now if only I can write music that’s a fraction as good theirs.
